Dreaming of becoming an author?
Are you ready to tap into a $6.18 billion industry,
sell books by the truckloads, and increase your visibility?
Hi Inspiring Authors!
Kudos to you for taking the first step in becoming a published author.
Books have the ability to transport an individual from their current situation to a wonderful island located on the other side of the globe, where there is tranquility. And let's not forget that they are therapeutic in nature.
16 years ago, I can recall sitting in my apartment in Virginia, happy about where I was in life. Until everything changed and I now found myself unemployed and unable to practice in my field again. All because I failed my national boards exam.
Life seemed like it was over for me.
I had put in hours in the labs studying the anatomy of cadavers. Taking tests. Working in groups. Spent six years to get a four year degree. Yes you read that right SMH. And now, I had acquired one year of experience providing occupational therapy to over 50 children in five schools.
During this time of discouragement and hopelessness, I took to writing. And I self published my very first book.
But here was the PROBLEM:
- Selling the book was hard. I couldn't sell more than 300 copies.
- The research is clear that the average first time self published author doesn't sell more than 250 copies of their book in it's entire lifetime.
- I was like so many authors. No platform. Small following. Poor sales.
- I had no knowledge of marketing skills or book launch strategies.
- Publicity? What's that?
Do you know how frustrating this is to someone just starting out?
I found the solution for ALL of these problems.
